How do you select a vendor (seller) for my product?Updated 9 months ago
Boardrush collaborates with a curated network of high quality vendors/sellers. When several sellers have the same product in stock, we determine which seller best suits your needs.
The order in which products from different sellers are displayed depends on the following criteria:
• Store and/or service location preference of the customer – Has the customer selected a “my store” in their account settings? If so, this store gets priority in the ranking.
• Price – We always display the most competitive price while trying to minimize price differentiation between our network partners.
• Is one of the sellers a brand dealer? – If a seller is an authorized brand dealer, they receive priority over a non-brand dealer. Additionally, we consider the nearest store based on the customer’s postal code.
• Delivery time – The fastest delivery time is preferred. We aim to minimize delivery time differences between network partners.
• Which seller is closest based on the postal code of the shipping address? – We prioritize the nearest store within the customer’s country. If multiple stores are equally distant, the one with the fastest delivery time gets priority.
• Is one of the sellers a distributor or agent of the product? – If no store sells the product, we check if there is an official distributor or agent of the brand with the product in stock.
• Is one of the sellers the product brand itself? – If the stores, distributor, or agent do not sell the product, we check whether the manufacturer has the product in stock.
• Is one of the sellers an international store? – As a last option, we check whether foreign stores offer the product. We consider the nearest location based on the customer’s postal code. Among international sellers, lower shipping costs are prioritized.
Note: If you purchase a product from an international store, additional shipping costs may apply.
